1. My understanding of the role of our group is to find ways to make Central a downtown destination, i.e. more popular with the populace of St Paul. 2. What has worked well for me is the ability to go look at other libraries for ideas, and to discuss the things that need to change in order to succeed at question #1. 3. What is not working for me is the lack of regular meetings, and the lack of progress due to the fact that we are awaiting some public surveys that have not yet been taken. 4. Suggestions for making the process work better? Nothing that would help, I'm afraid. But I do believe the process will ultimately lead to some very important and useful changes in how SPPL does business. 5. Our legacy will be to have made a significant impact on how we are perceived by the public and how our patrons respond to our collections/building.
